Hi,
  The "voltool" command is new and only exists in the very latest
test version of VMD (which is posted for download). No VMD releases
prior to the latest VMD 1.9.4 test versions have it.
The VMD 1.9.4a27 test build is currently posted for Linux/Mac, so
I would encourage using that if you want the 'volltoo' commands.
