no. this has nothing to do with python. VMD ships its own
runtime. the messages that you quote refer very obviously
to the r200 ati(?) graphics card driver. i don't know this
and thus don't know how to fix this, but a) you may want to
try the vendor provided driver and b) you should file a
bug report to the driver maintainers or fedora 11 maintainer.
f11 ships with some new gimmicks and thus the chances for
brokenness are high. the craze about compositing has left
very little capacity for fixing OpenGL bugs. :-(
