Thanks John,

I downloaded the dcd file again and vmd 1.8.3 loaded it without any problem.
The beta version is certainly helpful for large dcd files. Until now, I used
to break large
dcd files with catdcd and loading into VMD.

The beta version will help a lot.

Once again I appreciate the assitance.
