Kelvin,

   You should be able to set the DPI output from POV-Ray in that
program. In Windows, there is a pull-down menu with various resolution
and anti-aliasing options. You can add customized ones as well, as per
the POV-Ray user guide. The .pov file generated by VMD (or any other
package) just describes the objects, independent of output dpi.
