Dear all,
i got some burden trying to compile vmd.
What i did :
in
vmd-1.9.3 directory
> make macosx.opengl.x11
> cd src
> make veryclean
> make
but i got :
..
..
Compiling JString.C --> JString.o ...
Compiling macosxvmdstart.C --> macosxvmdstart.o ...
macosxvmdstart.C: In function ‘char* vmd_get_vmddir()’:
macosxvmdstart.C:134: error: ‘FSpMakeFSRef’ was not declared in this scope
make: *** [macosxvmdstart.o] Error 1
The FSpMakeFSRef and also FSRefMakePath are not maintained since macosx 10.5.
I thought that the macosx.opengl.x11 was for a traditional X11/Unix style VMD install (which doesn't need macosxvmdstart.C)
instead of an application bundle install.
That is strange ?
