Jim,
  I'm pecking away at this. The VMD code itself is pretty easy to compile
for 64-bit Windows, but historically there have been some issues with
various libraries that VMD depends on, and I have to revisit this issue again
for the 1.9.3 release. Right now I'm working on shoring up issues in VMD
itself, but after beta 1 is in the hands of users I will be working on
this again and doing some other library version updates where possible.
