hello,
is it possible to somehow read (gzip) compressed trajectories to vmd?
i tried googling through the archives and found a message mentioning
undocumented usage of zcat in older versions of file reader plugins.
would it be possible to use zlib functions in the plugins for reading
such files into vmd? zlib handles both compressed and noncompressed
files in the same way...
regards,
lubos
