I found that I no only wanted to translate the molecule, but also to rotate
it to get it where I wanted it. So I used the above method (short cut key
is "8") to move it around in the plan of the screen then rotating the
molecule in the plan of the screen using "r" with the other one fixed. The
center of rotation for the molecules don't not move.

As a suggestion to John, with the move molecule function, would it be
possible to have it rotate the molecule when you click on the right mouse
key, or something like that?
