Thanks but that doesn’t help.

 

I’m doing a comparison of two nucleic acid structures using the RMSD Trajectory Tool and then calculating and printing the max RMSD value for each atom. That outputs about 1600 lines to the console which is too many for just changing the size of the window.

 

After much trial, error and computer experimentation I finally found that using this command:

 

tkcon set ::tkcon::OPT(buffer) 10000

 

gave me the window/buffer size I needed.

if you mean you just want to see more lines simultaneously,

increase he size of the window with the mouse

(eg bottom right corner)

(your window manager permitting)

the console should scroll when CR (return, enter ....) is hit

 

the up and down arrows

go through the command history like most linux shells

 

if not, there is probably something wrong with your VMD installation

I am using VMD for WIN64, version 1.9.4a53 (June 29, 2021).
