Hi DML,

If you *just* want VMD analysis tools to work, I highly recommend vmd-python: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://vmd.robinbetz.com/__;!!DZ3fjg!r9Yk1l1vusJaUkr02cKZmBrV_aj3pw0d-wnWagpnrGOylpXFny9KbJ-v7kf9ssGUmg$

If you want to be able to look at things while controlling stuff from python, I have instructions for how to compile VMD with python support: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://github.com/jvermaas/vmd-packaging-instructions__;!!DZ3fjg!r9Yk1l1vusJaUkr02cKZmBrV_aj3pw0d-wnWagpnrGOylpXFny9KbJ-v7kecQDfEvg$

Subject: vmd-l: VMD 1.9.4 as a Python Module

Dear everyone,
I'm trying to compile VMD 1.9.4 as a Python module. I tried what was described here : https://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/mailing_list/vmd-l/13669.html$>
But I encounter the folowing error "make: *** no rule to make target « y.tab.h », needed for « vmd_LINUXAMD64 ». Stoped."
Where can I found comprehensive description on how to do this ?
Thanks,
DML.
