How do you start NAMD? As this is the VMD list, you probably run it through the Qwikmd or NamdEnergy? Which NAMD version do you have?

Dear VMD user,

I am using namd at my eighth generation system. Currently my simulations are running at max four cores. I will greatly appreciate if anyone can let me know how to increase number of cores so that simulations can be accelerated.
