Are you using a netcdf format rst7? This is not yet, to my knowledge, supported by VMD. Of course, the standard netcdf format mdcrd files are supported, but the format is only correctly recognized if you specify netcdf format or else use the ".nc" file extension.

Subject: vmd-l: Amber visualization problem

Hello,

I've loaded my sol.prmtop and sol.inpcrd file into VMD successfully. I
can see my water box without any problem.

However, when I try to load a .rst restart file or .mdcrd trajectory
file to VMD, VMD always stacks with information:

Info) rst7plugin) Title: CDF

The system halted. I am just wondering how to solve the problem? I am
using VMD 1.9.2

Thanks a lot

Albert
