Dear all,
In VMD window there is a molecule show as new cartoon representation with the color cyan. I create a new representation that corresponds to a residue using the "create Rep" botton in the graphical representation window and show it as "line". Setting the coloring method as "name", all the C atoms in the residue (including CA, C, CA, CD, CG, etc.) are colored as cyan, the O atoms are colored as red, and the N atoms are colored as blue. But if I wish to change all the C atoms in the residue into another color, say, pink, while keep the O and N atom as red and blue respectively, What should I do?
I have tried to create new representations for these C atoms, set the color method as "colorID" and then change the colorID into 9 (pink), but it doesn't work.
