Hi,
  From your description of the symptom, it seems that you are another
victim of the recent MacOS X Yosemite update 10.10.2 which has caused
similar problems for others. Please send the output of this command:
  sw_vers

Also, if you can tell us what model of Mac you have and what graphics
hardware it has, that would also be useful.
