and how can i know that you are running on windows??

at any rate, what i wrote in my previous e-mail about keeping the
individual images and using an external program to create a movie
applies to windows as well. e.g. you can also create movies using
FFmpeg, which is available at no cost. the moviemaker plugin is
nothing else but a rather simple Tcl/Tk script that automates this
process (and then deletes the intermediate files after the compression
is completed). it does support FFmpeg, but apparently not on windows.
