Dear Experts
Hi

I am currently trying to compile VMD in win64 environment.
So far I have compiled the TCL8.5.16. and its libraries are linkable
(tested).
I have installed the newest cygwin with GNU make and GNU gcc and g++
I have compiled the VMD plugins using the following commands:

set TCLLIB="-IC:\\Program Files\\TCL\\lib"
set TCLINC="-LIBPATH:C:\\Program Files\\TCL\\include"
make WIN64

and installed the plugins using:
set PLUGINDIR="C:\Temp\VMD\vmd-1.9.1\plugins"
make distrib

I have also used the make command from the vmd source folder
(C:\Temp\VMD\vmd-1.9.1):
make win64.opengl

deleted the -D"expf=exp" -D"logf=log" -D"sqrtf=sqrt" -D"cosf=cos"
-D"sinf=sin" -D"fabsf=fabs" -D"acosf=acos" flags from the makefile in the
src folder (C:\Temp\VMD\vmd-1.9.1\src) it caused problems in compiling src
folder.

and used the following code in the src folder:
make

everything will compile correctly but in the linking step I get the
following error:

it seems to me the libraries created with the cl.exe command to generate
the plugins are not compatible with Cygwin gcc and g++. but I would be glad
if anyone could help me solve my problem.
