Download the trajectory_movie.tcl script from the VMD script library. In
its current form it will output rgb files (or BMP, depending on defaults
for the system you are on), but it can be easily modified to produce POV
file (Ie use another VMD rendering mode). Regardless of how you get the
bunch of BMPs (or other image files)... whether it be directly from VMD
or through rendering the pov files... you can then load the into your
other favourite freeware program to make a movie. Personally I've been
using ffmpeg... simple command line program :)
