I recently got a new Mac OS 10.8 and it seems no longer to be able to X11 vmd across. I never had problems with my old 10.6, so obviously it is a Mac issue, rather than VMD.

So there are 2 options of what happens:

- if I run vmd remotely on other Mac 10.8.x:
I get all the output on the terminal, but not graphics

- if I run on linux cluster:
It crashes with the following

/usr/bin/which: no rlwrap in (/usr/local/Cluster-Apps/sge/current/bin/lx24-amd64:/usr/local/Cluster-Apps/sge/current/bin/lx24-amd64:/usr/lib64/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/Cluster-Apps/sge/6.1u6/bin/lx24-amd64:/usr/local/Cluster-Apps/pgi/9.0.4/linux86-64/9.0-4/bin:/usr/local/Cluster-Apps/vmd/1.8.7/bin)

I have tested it on other Macs 10.8 and it seems to be a general issue, has anyone found a way to overcome it?

Thank you,
Valentina
