I just, unfortunately, 'upgraded' my OS to Centos 6 from Centos 5.-something. I tried to render a VMD image using tachyon & got an error message indicating rendering was impossible because VMD did not have permission to write vmdscene.dat to the current directory. Has anyone encountered this already, and what did you do to fix it? This was not a problem with the previous version of Centos!
