Hi,
I wanted to send an update on this...
I've put some time into trying out replacing the on-the-fly generation
of lex/yacc flex/bison parsers with a single set of source files that
will compile on all platforms. So far it hasn't been easy, I have
various platform-specific issues to work out. This makes me wonder if
the cure-is-worse-than-the-disease, as it were. If I can get past a few
of the hangups though, I'll have something for people to try in another
day or two. I just wanted to let people know that I'm working on this..
