You'll have to ensure that your Linux machine has a correctly working
OpenGL driver. You can do the same check by running "glxinfo" which
is a standard utility shipped with most Linux installations. Please
verify that your Linux machine has a working OpenGL driver and once
that is solved VMD should work for you.
