Hi,
  If you have another video compression tool for Windows, you can
have the VMD movie maker plugin emit the individual movie frames, and
you can run an alternative tool to turn them into a movie as a separate
manual step. All you have to do for this is just change the movie
settings to prevent VMD from deleting the image files at the end of
the movie generation process. That approach works well for things like
Adobe Premiere, Apple iMovie, and many other movie making tools that
cannot be easily scripted from within VMD.
You should also see if you can get a copy of "ffmpeg" for Windows,
which is a free program that originated on Linux:
