Hello, everyone

I am download the source of VMD1.8.7, I want to compile it by myself.
But I found the "READ" file of source version is the same with the binary version. It does not tell how to compile the source.

Could you give me the detail setup for compiling the sorce of vmd1.8.7 on the linux system? Or could you tell me the website which introduces the setup protocal?
