Sys Info:
Redhat Linux 7.3
Linux 2.4.18-3 i686 athlon

Downloaded binaries:
vmd-1.8.bin.LINUX.mesa.tar.gz

Im getting the following errors in the console window with VMD 1.8 Linux
Mesa binaries (the OpenGL Binaries simply lock my desktop)

The specified files do exist in the specified directories.

I tried building from the source bundle but had problems with this as
well... what should I try next?

Any advice appreciated greatly.
