Hi all,

John is right.

Since I used to observe compiling processes when runing ./configure (maybe
not vmd),
I thought if nothing happened there must be something wrong, so I even did
not try anything afterward, and paste this question in the mailinglist
directly. Sorry~!

Actually, after typing ./configure in the working directory
and cd to the src , make install
vmd works.
