Hi,
VMD only supports windowed stereoscopic display. There's presently
no way to invoke VMD for full-screen stereo except if you compile it
with CAVElib or FreeVR. Both of CAVElib and FreeVR have their own
display code, which should be capable of full-screen stereo. That said,
an Asus V8200 is a very old card and I'm not sure whether the stereo
modes it uses are compatible with CAVElib or FreeVR, since I'm guessing
it's not implemented by the normal OpenGL quad-buffered stereo scheme.
