Dear VMD developers,
While we are on the subject of feature requests - would it be possible to
include support for 3-button mice (as an option on the mouse panel)?
When using VMD on SGI systems I really miss the type of control that is
available in Insight or Sybyl:
The button combinations in Insight are:
Right button: Rotate molecule
Middle: Translate
Left: Select
L + R: Rotate around Z axis
M + R: Scale molecule
M + L: Translate along Z axis
As far as I know, holding all three buttons down does not do anything.
This combination could be used to cycle the molecule through all the
colours of the rainbow - or something else entertaining....
Keep up the good work.
David
