Hi,

Try putting this code snippet into your .vmdrc file:

        proc structure { mol seltext ss } {
                  set sel [atomselect $mol $seltext]
                  $sel set structure $ss
        }

This was a convenience function which somehow got eliminated between 1997
and today. Give that a try and let us know how it goes.
