I installed vmd-1.8.3 (AMD64) on my AMD v64 bit machine running Fedora Core 4. When I entered
VMD from root, I got the following error message

Warning: Tried to connect to session manager, Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed

When I ran it under a user, the X-windows flashed and did not show anything.

Please help. Thanks a lot.
