I have a .xyz file of a crystal surface (e.g representation of a gold or
Silicon surface)
and I have a .pdb file of a organic molecule (e.g Alkanethiol)
Is there any way in which I can "form" a Monolayer of my molecule
 and connect it to the crystal layer?

I am a new user with little experience in visualization.
I fund the Membrane package and in principle I would like to form "half" a
membrane with my molecules.

Does anybody know how to do that?

Is there maybe another prgramm avaiblable better for this task?
