Unless it's been fixed in the last .. 10 years since I wrote it ..
VMD only supports linear chains and not circular ones. A
similar problem existed with circular DNA.

I don't work on VMD any more so take what I say with some
caution. I just chime in with fuzzy memories every once
in a while. :)
