Luis,
  Can you run 'glxinfo' on those other X displays? VMD needs both X,
as well as a functioning GLX implementation in order to run to a remote
display. It is possible that your display wall is working for plain X11
protocol but that it lacks the GLX extensions needed for OpenGL. You might
try running simple demo OpenGL apps there too, I suspect you'll discover that
they don't work. What software are you running on this display wall,
is it Chromium?
