I am trying to use a spacemouse pro with VMD (1.9.4a53) on Windows 11, although it is not recognized in the VMD startup output. I am using the latest 3dconnexion driver. I think the problem may be related to how the driver registers the spacemouse pro, which has macro keys, as three separate devices: HID Keyboard device, HID-compliant game controller and HID-compliant mouse. The game controller device is recognized as a joystick. Disabling the game controller device in windows stops the joystick from being recognized but did not allow VMD to recognize the 3dconnexion driver.
