Hi!
 
I cannot find a copy of the default .vmdrc file used by VMD in the distribution I downloaded (precompiled Linux). My interest is to build upon this file.
 
I noticed that if I start with an empty file and scan for plugins (vmd_plugin_scandirectory) I don't get the default main window with the menus. Only the graphics and console windows come up. So, I suspect the default .vmdrc does a few things I would like done before I customize the system.
