Dear VMD-L,
I have just posted the first group of builds of VMD 1.9.3 beta 4
for download. As discussed on VMD-L, this beta uses a different
workaround for file browser issues on the most recent revs of MacOS X.
This beta contains the latest versions of QwikMD, MDFF, and
ffTK, and is the first beta that supports for CUDA 8.0 builds for the
latest NVIDIA Pascal GPUs, the Intel OSPRay interactive ray tracing engine,
and support for OpenPOWER (POWER8) CPUs VSX vector instructions,
CUDA, OpenGL, and EGL graphics, and Intel Xeon Phi CPUs with
AVX-512 vector instructions.
Please give the new version a spin and let me know how well it
works for you, and particularly if you encounter any problems.
Cheers,
John Stone
