Hi,
I have a somewhat bare-bones minimalistic tutorial on preparing
omnidirectional stereoscopic movies using VMD here:
  http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/minitutorials/vrmovies/

I expect to expand on this once VMD 1.9.3 is completely finalized,
but there should be enough there to allow people to start rendering
movies with the VMD 1.9.3 beta version that's already posted.
Let me know if you have questions.

Cheers,
  John Stone
