no. but you need other external software. which one depends on your
OS. please see the plugin documenation:
http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/plugins/vmdmovie/

please also note, that you can always tell the plugin to keep the
individual images and then use an external converter tool that can
convert a series of images into a movie.
