that would be extremely unlikely these days.

i already told you before. *you* messed up the configure script.

i am sorry, but i have no crystal ball, no mind reading
ability and particularly no magic spell that will keep you
from messing things up and being completely ignorant
about computers. if you are serious about using computers
in your future work, you will have a *very* rocky road ahead.

a *very* large number of people have little or no problems
at all with the installation of VMD and have done so for
many years. chances are, there is somebody close to you.
my recommendation is find that somebody, invite/bribe/threaten
this person to come over and do the installation for you.

unless you learn how to better help people to
help you, trying to get this to work over e-mail
is a waste of your and my time.
