Thanks for your reply, but I really made what I wrote in my previous email.
first I typed './configure', and thereafter, certainly, changed to src
and typed 'make install'.
I just changed the directory path to /opt/bin and
/opt/lib/$install_name, and I added the /opt/bin to my PATH variable.
Thereafter I tried to launch vmd by typing 'vmd' and I got the message:
setenv: Too many arguments.
Today morning I tried to launch again, and fortunately it works. In the
meantime I didn't do anything, so I really don't know what happened but
it works now :).
