Subject: Re: vmd-l: TkConsole not working

Hi,
This is likely an issue with the SCIM X input manager in recent
versions of Linux. Please try the VMD 1.8.7 beta version that's
available on the web site and let us know if you still encounter
this problem. The final version of VMD 1.8.7 will be released shortly.

Cheers,
