Hi,
> good day all, we're experimenting with a zalman M220 with current
nvidia drivers and nvidia quadro fx 4600. basic stereo seems work work
ok (medical image works, the test 3d works). when we try and start vmd
it crashes with this error:
> this is vista32b, current nvidia drivers.
Looks like this is doing passive polarized stereo? The website:
http://www.zalman.co.kr/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=219
says support for "games" in vista 32bit only. The big question, have you
(or anyone else on the list) run it under linux? If it'll work with
passive stereo in linux for certain apps like vmd, pymol, chimera, coot,
o, etc then this would be great news since it costs ~$650 (froogle)
instead of $5k for other (smaller) LCD stereo solutions with lower
resolutions.
Thanks,
Sabuj Pattanayek
