Bala,
  Since you're running RHEL 3, I can't build a binary that you'll be
able to run. (our oldest machines are running RHEL 4...)
In order to try the new version of VMD on your system, you'll need
to compile from source. If you're interested in doing this, I can
walk you through the process.
