Hi,

I have installed vmd-1.8a.10 on a MacOSX PowerbookG4. XDarwin, Tcl/Tk etc...
have been installed from Fink.

Here is the problem: I am unable to load any trajectory or configuration,
since in the File->Load form, the "Primary File Type" and "Secondary File Type"
columns are empty.

Babel seems correctly installed, I moved it to /usr/local/babel, together
with the *.lis files, and defined VMD_BABELBIN and BABEL_DIR accordingly.
I inserted a call /usr/local/babel/babel in the script
/usr/local/bin/vmd to check: it does not complain...

I do not have any problem with vmd-1.7.1.

Does anyone have any idea ?

PS: I otherwise use vmd-1.8a.10 under Linux, and the Dynamical Bonds are great !
