Dear VMD-L,
  We came across a nice review of several of the leading
"workstation level" graphics boards for the PC platform, and
thought you might find this information helpful for those people
thinking of getting higher performance graphics for their PCs:

The article compares the high-end boards with the GeForce 3 and
GeForce 2 GTS cards, which are very common these days and are quite
inexpensive. (see www.pricewatch.com for price comparisons..)
Only some of the boards have Linux/Unix drivers, but all of them
support Windows.
