There is a bug in babel, with respect to hyperchem files, that generates
incorrect intput for VMD and as well causes VMD to hang because babel is in
an infinite loop. Further VMD needs to be able to analyze CONECT records to
make what your are trying to do work (if my inference with regard to that is
on target).

Subject: hyperchem files
Hi,
What version of HyperChem is suported?
I've been trying to open a HyperChem 6 MD
run (*.hin) and it does not work, VMD can't
find any molecules. There are also
files with extensions *.csv and *.snp
I'm trying to open the csv file and Babel is doing
something, but it is taking to long...
