        I've done just this, with povray, for VMD images, the result
was about perfect. I think I got pixel-accurate (or close to pixel-accurate)
agreement for identical aligned objects across the field of view..
Contact me if you're having troubles with zoom vs. camera distance;
I'll try to unearth the old povray files...
