Program

The workshop follows a four-day calendar:  Participants watch the streaming video of the course lecture and complete the workshop tutorial during the first three days of the workshop, and on the fourth day submit via email questions to the instructor that are answered during the conference call, along with other participant questions. Questions about the workshop program should be sent to workshop+online1@ks.uiuc.edu.
 

February 22-26: Lecture and Tutorial

  • Participants are on their own to watch the streaming video of the lecture "Simulating Membrane Channels"
  • Participants are on their own to complete the "Simulation of Water Permeation Through Nanotubes" tutorial
  • Participants should during this time also formulate questions for the instructor, which will be discussed during the conference call

February 27: Conference Phone Calls (in US Central Time Zone, 24-hour clock)

10:00-10:05 Participants to send questions via e-mail to the instructor, with subject line "Online Workshop Questions"
11:00-11:05 Conference phone call begins - all participants to call the conference call number
11:05-12:00 Questions and discussion with instructor
