We have updated our name to Theoretical and Computational Biophysics Group (TCBG). Our new name captures better the essence of who we are and what we do. In the past ten years our scope has evolved and broadened and it is time to modify our name in a way that would fit and describe us better.

As a significant number of members in our group are now engaged in computational technology and related efforts to enable science, the new name makes them completely integrated in the group, not only in practice but also in words. As importantly, adding "Computational" to our name offers a more current description of the overall nature of the group.

Finally, the desire to retain "Theoretical" is driven by our long-established activities and well known accomplishments in the area of theoretical biophysics that are largely responsible for the considerable name recognition the group has attained over the years.
