David,
  Can you run "sw_vers" on your mac and report the result, and can
you also send me the VMD startup messages that list the CPU features
detected during startup? I've had one other user report this symptom
so far, but I have not been able to reproduce it yet on any of the Mac
systems we use for development and testing. If you can provide this
information, I'm hoping it'll assist me with narrowing down the root cause.
