Hi

I am using RHEL3 and am having trouble installing VMD. I tried to
install the version of vmd 1.8.3 for red hat 9. It gives me the
following error when i try to load it by doing "vmd" on the command
line:

/usr/local/lib/vmd/vmd_LINUX: error while loading shared libraries:
libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory

I have libstdc++.so.6, but no libstdc++.so.5. Also compiling from
source looks difficult. Any suggestions?
